What happens to the information provided?

All the information you provide will be strictly confidential.  You will not be identified by name or address in any publications arising from this study.

The website is designed in such a way that it will be impossible to access personal information by anyone other than the Director hosting the website, and the researchers listed. All information will be stored securely by our host website company (CODENZA), however we ensure that your personal identification will be protected, and the confidentiality of your responses.  All questionnaires (electronic or paper format) will be kept in locked filing cabinets, which will be the responsibility of the Assistant Director of the Centre for Public Health Research.  


Summary reports of the findings will be posted on the study website throughout the study period, and mailed to participants upon request.

All women in New Zealand in their 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy are eligible to be included in this study.

Participants must be 16 years and over to take part in the study.
